Oceanside NY (MPN) - As the NFL Draft is approaching, one other major event is making headlines, the inevitable of the NFL Returning to Los Angeles. Despite this being an inevitability for twenty one years, the race to The City of Angels is heating up.
*The Rams continue to make progress . In March, construction on their proposed facility in Inglewood was approved unanmiously by the LA City Council and so far, the efforts in St Louis have been met with Controversy and Have made little or no progress.
*The Raiders and Chargers are moving in on the proposed facility in Carson. The purchase of the land was completed some time last month, and is expected to be voted on either today or in a public vote later on this year.
* Progress in San Diego and Oakland however, is much more moving than in the City of St. Louis. Oakland and Alamaeda County approved the proposed Coliseum City Project and the City of San Diego has selected a site for its stadium.
*The NFL has warned the Cities of San Diego and Oakland that "time is running short"
* The Owners are expected to meet in May and hopefully, we will know
